From November 7 to 9, 2024, we had the privilege of attending Denkmal, Europe’s premier event dedicated to the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. Held at the Leipzig Trade Fair Center, this year’s edition reinforced its pivotal role in bringing together professionals, experts, and innovators from around the world.
A Hub for Culture and Innovation
As soon as we entered the fair, we were greeted by a vibrant and international atmosphere. Exhibitors from various countries showcased the latest technologies, materials, and techniques for preserving artistic and historical heritage. We had the chance to connect with restorers, architects, and artisans, discovering how tradition and innovation can harmoniously coexist.
International Networking
A key part of our experience was participating in the “CONTACT – Denkmal” matchmaking event. This initiative allowed us to meet companies and institutions from across Europe, including representatives from Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, and Austria. The opportunities for collaboration were extensive, ranging from restoration projects to the adoption of new museum technologies.
Our Contribution
Our booth garnered significant attention for its innovative techniques in preserving historical materials. We have shown our micro-nebulizer, a little machine that can work on delicate surfaces like stone and mosaics.
We received positive feedback from visitors and professionals alike, who were particularly interested in our technical solutions and our efforts in applying sustainability to restoration practices.
